In Writing, we began to write our own fairy tales. Each child came up with their story topic and wrote an enchanting beginning, which included introducing the main characters and the setting as well as the problem.
The children also have been writing and acting out their own fairy tales in Puppet Theater during Literacy Centers.
We went our trip to see Seussical. It was a wonderful musical and the children really enjoyed it.Look at some pictures of the trip below.

Peter was our Student of the Week and he read his favorite book to the class. Mrs. Rappold came in to do a special presentation about Peter and talked to us about Guatemala. It was lovely.
Thursday, 3/10 is our trip to Jenkinson's Aquarium. The children need to bring a brown bag lunch with their name on it. They can come dressed down in black and white in honor of the penguins. It is an all day trip. We will return to school between 2 and 2:30.
A farmer delivered some chicken eggs to Mrs. Meier's science lab. Here are some pictures...
Friday is the 1st and 4th Grade Mini-Musical, Red Riding Hood. It will be at 1:45 in the All Purpose room. I hope you all will be able to come and see it. The children have been working really hard on it.
